Trinity Laban Youth Dance Company is a performance company of creative, committed 12-18 year old dancers.
TLYDC works with guest artists and professional dance companies to devise and perform new choreography.
Company members meet weekly for company class and rehearsals. In their weekly session company members warm up, learn and create choreography, rehearse and refine their performance skills. Additional sessions to create work and perform take place across the year; with creative intensives typically taking place on a Sunday or during school holidays.

How to join
We hold annual auditions for new company members to join TLYDC. Auditions involve a company class, with a chance to meet the team and ask questions.
Company members join TLYDC for a minimum of one year. Once you’ve joined TLYDC, members can continue dancing with the company until they reach the end of school Year 13.
Auditions to join Trinity Laban Youth Dance Company take place in the summer term.
Our auditions for this year have now finished.
Applications to audition will open in Summer Term 2026. To be the first to hear when auditions open, please register your interest at the top of the page.
